The latest edition of the Mobiography digital magazine have just been published. This action packed issue is a AMPt special and highlights some of the best talent the community has to offer.

What’s inside this AMPt Special?

mobiography magazine issue 7 coverThis AMPt special featues an interview with founder, Frank Mathews as well as showcasing the winners of Decembers AMPt/Mobigraphy End of Year Challenge.

For this challenge AMPt community members were asked to submit their best three photos from 2013. The judging panel included Nei Cruz, Duane Hall, Paul ‘Skip’ Brown, Heline Lam, Stefanie LePape, Joel Adams, Josh St German and Todd Leban. Special guest judges included Jennifer Bracewell and myself, Andy Butler. Special thanks goes out to Michelle Robinson for organising and coordinating the event.

After several gruelling rounds of judging the final winners were chosen. In issue 7 the winners are profiled along with two of their winning photographs.

AMPt member, Paul Brown of Skipology provides a step by step tutorial about a technique called ‘Freelensing’. We also kick off a short series which looks at black and white photography. The first in this series takes a look at the use of light, tone and texture. In our beginners guide we take a look at the rule of thirds.  We look at the new iZZi gadgets 5 in 1 lens system called the ‘iZZi Slim’. We also feature the usual Flickr Group showcase as well as some other handy tips and advice to help you further develop your mobile photography skills.

Sync subscriptions between devices

Existing subscribers on the ipad can easily transfer their subscription and previous downloads between devices by clicking on the yellow subscribe button from the opening app screen, then tapping on the ‘Restore All Purchases’ option. You will need to log into using the same iTunes Apple ID which was used to purchase the original subscription on the other device. This will sync purchases between devices.
