A step in the right direction
‘A step in the right direction’ by @di.monheit19 – “As I was at a venue in a city I was visiting, I was attracted by the vibrant green of the staircase against the bright blue wall. I always carry my iPhone with me so it was convenient to take a shot! I love minimal images so this was a ‘win’ for me. Post-production edits were done in Snapseed.”
Going with the flow
‘Going with the flow’ by @fleurschim – “This image was captured on my iPhone 13 Pro while I was walking around Dana point Harbor, California, one morning. I saw this stunning view as I was walking on a bridge. A woman was paddling behind her companions through a channel in the harbor. There were many boats and yachts berthed to either side. A very picturesque scene. I had a perfect birds-eye view of this woman as she glided below, then, under the bridge. I was shooting in ‘live’, and captured several images.
Later, after scrolling through the live captures on my iPad Pro, I settled on an image that revealed minimal gradations in color that I could enhance in Snapseed.
That process began in ‘Looks’ with ‘pop’, then ‘morning’. I tend to go back-and-forth with ‘fine tuning’, and ‘glamour glow’. I may do this several times until I get the effect that I am searching for.
It’s interesting how Snapseed is usually my first step for a multi application edit. In this case, Snapseed was all I needed!”
Untitled
‘Untitled’ by @harnaka_harto – “This photo was taken in morning time at tea plantation and because of the hilly contour of the place, we could take a photo from one hill to the valley of the teas. The shape of this land also creating an interesting light trace and shadow when the sun shining from hill to the valley and the morning fog make this light trace become more beautiful.”
The man in the Mirror
‘The man in the Mirror’ by @iphotokunst – “Shot on iPhone 7 Plus in 2017 in Delhi”
Hydra
‘Hydra’ by @jawdoc2 – “I saw this colourful wall in the early morning light. The green and blue complimented each other perfectly. I noticed the added reflection off the motor car and windshield in the foreground and composed my frame. I waited for a figure of interest to walk by. This formed a perfect three headed focal point, “the Hydra”. Shot on my iPhone 7 plus and edited with the iPhone software”
Neighbours
‘Neighbours’ by @lenah243 – “This is a Goldenrod Crab Spider shot in the morning light, under a gentle sun. It was a very special connection.”
Peace
‘Peace’ by @lizanderson48 – “I have been thinking about peace quite often lately as I think all of us have and when I saw this little dove vase with the simple green succulent it touched something in my heart. I don’t usually photograph still life images but I couldn’t resist the simplicity of this. I shot this with my iPhone 11 Pro Max and edited it in Snapseed using a vintage filter. ”
Untitled
‘Untitled’ by @miguelcastellano_photo – “This photo was taken in a summer evening just after the rain stops. I was walking around a sport area and I discovered a lot of reflexes in the wet ground. So I started to look for interesting photographic compositions considering the white lines of the soccer and basketball playgrounds. Suddenly, two people arrived to the area riding bikes all over the sports area, passing by the puddles. I tried to obtain a golden ratio composition flipping the image in this photo. ”
Don’t blame a clown
“Don’t blame a clown” by @robinrobertis – “This photo is a selfie using an app that added the clown make-up and another to add the background.”
Favela in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
‘Favela in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil’ by @royiphoneography – “A favela typically comes into being when squatters occupy vacant land at the edge of a city and construct shanties of salvaged or stolen materials. Favela in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Shot with a iPhone X and edited using VSCO.”
Art Work
‘Art Work’ by @the.r.a.b.b.i.t – “While walking through a crowded mall in Dubai where everyone was so busy window shopping and dining, I gazed up towards the ceiling and this captured my attention. The shape and the colours of the roof resembling a green planet is the inspiration behind this photograph.
The image was captured using my iPhone 8 plus and edited via the Lightroom mobile app.”
Untitled
‘Untitled’ by @zenlake – “The photo was taken with the iPhone 13 Pro Max. It was taken in my backyard after it had been raining. I was playing around with the new macro mode on the phone. I had more misses than hits and I wasn’t able to get a shallow depth of field and sometimes the photos appeared over sharpened. It was different to taking photos with the moment lens. However, macro mode on the iPhone 13 pro does work well with certain images and a little bit of trail and error. It was edited with Snapseed. I did add a little of blur around the drops to make them stand out.”
