iPhone version release

Issue 3 also marks the release of an exciting new update to the app which now makes the magazine available to iPhone users as well as on the ipad. This has been one of the biggest requested features and a logical step in the magazine development.

Switching between formats

Due to the difference in screen size ratio between the iPhone and iPad the format of the iPhone version defaults to a plain text design to aid readability. While it does lack the design of the full layout version it makes readability on the iphone much easier.

However, if you prefer to view the magazine in all its glory offered by the ipad version then this can be accessed by tap and holding the screen until the navigation appears. In the top right corner you will see a small square icon. Pressing this will switch to the full layout version.

Sync subscriptions between devices

Existing subscribers on the ipad can easily transfer their subscription and previous downloads between devices by clicking on the yellow subscribe button from the opening app screen, then tapping on the ‘Restore All Purchases’ option. You will need to log into using the same iTunes Apple ID which was used to purchase the original subscription on the other device. This will sync purchases between devices.

Grab your copy now

To grab your copy of the Mobiography magazine head over to the app store and install the app. Once installed, the Mobiography app provides a magazine shelf for all future magazine releases. To access the magazines you will need to either buy single issues at a cost of $2.99 per issue or subscribe at a bi-monthly cost of $2.49.

New issues will automatically be downloaded to a subscribers devices. There are also plans to release subscriber only special issues in between the main issues so subscribers can receive further benefits.
