Thats how it feels entering Tehran through The Azadi Monument Tower‘ by @arashrimus – “This is the legendary Azadi Tower, a state of the art monumental tower that is renowned for its immaculate shape and design; The Azadi Tower was built during the early 1970’s and since then it has remained as one the Tehran’s most prominent tourist attractions. It is located at the gateways of the city and since decades ago it warmly has greeted tourists, visitors and tehran’s own citizens with sheer amounts of dignity as an enduring symbol of modern times. – Azadi Tower, Tehran – Iran. The 60’s in Berlin

The 60’s in Berlin‘ by @bazillus – “My series ‘architecture – eye on detail’ is an ongoing project which I started in 2011. The title ‘architecture – eye on detail’ is my guideline. My focus is on the details of buildings, interior and excerpts from the urban space. The choice of the place, and the language of shapes and the light transfer the images to an independent abstract photo. As well as they are references to architectural styles and eras.

The photos are shot with my iPhone and just have been edited with Instagram. Black and White Only! I took this photo in Berlin. ”

Scalloped

Scalloped‘ by @camhaynes22 – “When I can, I enjoy sitting on our back deck just looking around. New details keep revealing themselves. They’ve always been there, I just have to see them; all will be revealed in due time. For example, this little scalloped awning hangs over a window of our garden shed. It’s always been there but this was the 1st time I stopped to appreciate it’s shape and form. The simplicity of the curves are pleasing to me.

Photographed & edited on Samsung Galaxy S7 (no flash, no tripod). Edited, in part, with SnapSeed & EyeEm apps.”

Untitled‘ by @dgspicer1 – “Walking the beach at Birch Bay State Park in Washington, I came across this piece of driftwood with incredible lines and texture. With no color to it, I thought it would make a great black and white to bring out the detail and lines. Ansel Adams has always been an inspiration and influence, which is why I enjoy black and white photography so much and strive to always get better. Photo was shot on an iPhone XS with post processing done on Lightroom mobile.”

Sunshield‘ by @eye_compose_pixel – “While clicking out of the car window, I found this wonedrful ‘pattern’ on the window itself. Sometimes, we need not go out to look for the perfect photo rather we can create one! ”

An Architectural Beauty

An Architectural Beauty‘ by @iphonecameragirl – “This image was shot in the Abbey in Bath, UK. I was so taken with the amazing ceiling that I knew I had to capture it. It was taken on an IPhone 8+ with a wide angle moment lens attached so I could get in the whole room. It was edited in Snapseed.”

Shadowland

Mobiography Photo Challenge: 14 Fantastic Pattern Inspired Smartphone Photos 7

Shadowland‘ by @laurence_bouchard – “‘Shadowland’ was shot in the international forum in Tokyo. The roof has these amazing swooping curves of steel and glass which create a brilliant play of shadows on the floor. The building was designed by Rafael Vinoly and it’s probably my favourite building in Tokyo. I shot this scene with a Sony and Olympus DLSR but my favourite shot come from the iPhone 10. It goes to show that it’s always worth switching cameras. I then made a few minor adjustments in Snapseed.”

Wearing odd Happy socks on World Down Syndrome Day

Wearing odd Happy socks on World Down Syndrome Day‘ by Elaine Taylor – “This shot of my happy feet was taken on day 80 of my 365 Hipstamatic photo project last year. That was 21 March – World Down’s Syndrome Day. I’m lucky to know some fabulously bubbly and colourful children who have Down’s Syndrome. One of the ways the day is marked is by people wearing colourful odd socks for the day and sharing their photos. My odd socks contribution for this year is very similar to this shot and was also posted to my 365 Instagram account, just a few days ago. Check out the #lotsofsocks tag on Instagram to see more fabulous odd socks.

Shot and edited using Hipstamatic on an iPhoneX (Beard/Blanko)”
