And suddenly all the birds began singing to you…
‘And suddenly all the birds began singing to you…‘ by @arashrimus – “Upon capturing this scene I was reminded of the Disney fairytales; an unsuspecting sad looking young man suddenly encounters with a bunch of birds singing to him out of the blue just to cheer him up and to usher him into a beautiful morning! I was mesmerized to encounter such dramatic scene through a big busy urban life.”
stôl
‘stôl‘ by @camhaynes22 – “What can really be said about a public restroom? It is what it is. We’ve all been there.
This was the first time I used this one at our local shopping centre since they remodeled it and I stopped to appreciate the symmetry, the lighting, the lines, the textures of the surfaces.
Photographed and edited on Samsung Galaxy S7 (no flash, no tripod… just a quick clic before someone walked in). Edited, in part, with Snapseed and EyeEm apps.”

Love every colour in every emotion in every state
‘Love every colour in every emotion in every state‘ by @kimboid – “I have an ongoing project called ‘Mirror Mirror’ which captures commuters in a major city of Australia.
Love is an image that represents all the states you can find it. Alone, together, waiting, separated, regret and hope. The human condition is found in the reflections of train windows, not just in my city, but everywhere.
It was captured on an Android mobile and processed by the Snapseed app. Processing is basic exposure, contrast, brightness in selected areas and a burning tool.”
Untitled
‘Untitled‘ by @loekyfiret – “I’m a Dutch photographer living and working in Paris. My work is focused on the relationship of the human being in which puts him, wraps him, surrounds him in touch with the world.
I took this picture at the Monte Carlo’s Railway station. The architecture of the building is an fabulous playground for photographers! The shadow motifs and those particular colors are created by the reflection of the sun through the huge canopy. Only visible during a short moment in the morning. For editing I did some very small basic adjustments in Snapseed and I applied a light soft filter for the floor. ”
Commuter reflections
‘Commuter reflections‘ by @pennijam – “The photo was taken in Melbourne, Australia and is a reflection on an overhead glass awning which I shot looking upwards and then rotated so that the people were the right way up. It was taken on my iPhoneX and edited in Snapseed. ”
Love this city!
‘Love this city!‘ by @rawsdeb – “This photo was taken on iPhoneXS and edited in Snapseed then converted to black and white. It was taken during the Christmas season with carolers singing and people strolling through the city. I liked the city landscape behind the lighted Boston sign. With the people walking in front of it creating a silhouette just seemed to make it come alive. ”
Sunsets and silhouettes
‘Sunsets and silhouettes‘ by @tanvi2016 – “This picture was captured on my recent work trip to Mumbai, India. I love street photography and the traffic situation gives me ample of time and opportunity to click city life, it’s people and places.
We were driving along marine drive when I noticed few students on the promenade, against the sunset their silhouette made for a perfect picture. I have been trying to do silhouettes for a while and this turned out to be the right place and time. What I also loved about this click is that I also got the buildings in the background and people in the foreground.
I think the light was great and did not do much editing except cropping it from the bottom and sides for better alignment and frame.”
PANCHIKAWATTE
‘PANCHIKAWATTE‘ by @the.r.a.b.b.i.t – “Panchikawatte, Colombo is well known for its spare part stores. This happy young energetic chap owns one of the road side stores and sells spare motor parts for a living. He works day on and sometimes nights to earn his livelihood. He was delighted to have his photo taken on a busy hot humid day. Shot on iPhone 8 plus and edited on Snapseed”
Downtown
‘Downtown‘ by @ushi.g – “I wondered around the streets of Melbourne doing my last trip back there, I noticed this woman sitting in the window of a cafe. She was so totally engrossed in her mobile device (such a ubiquitous part of urban life these days) and she caught my eye immediately.
I captured her using my iPhone 8plus native camera. I straightened the corner a little in Snapseed, then used Black App to convert the image to black and white.”
Matadero Madrid toilets
‘Matadero Madrid toilets‘ by @vdarcal – “The old Madrid slaughterhouse is a set of neo-Mudejar style pavilions, built at the beginning of the 20th century on the banks of the Manzanares, ir has become today in a small city devoted to culture, where citicens find lots of cultural activities.
I Like going there for the acivities, but also because it is a very photogenic place.”
Waiting for their pasta
‘Waiting for their pasta‘ by @zoya_zen – “This shot was taken in Prague. It was hot summer day and the downtown of Prague was crowded by lots of tourists. After sightseeing we had a rest and just walked along beautiful streets. We watched the passers-by and took pictures of city scenes. I think the real spirit of each city is on its people and in such everyday scenes. I took this shot of girls that were waiting for their pasta. I like this place, girl’s pink hair and pink tablecloths. It’s so simple but magical at the same time and I hope their pasta was great!”
