‘Love Story’ by @ceci.fogel.glusman.bw – “This is a love story between my husband and my grandson. They have a very special relationship. While sitting on the floor, grandpa told a story to Noam and it was perfect for taking a photo.”

Beach walk

‘Beach walk’ by @di.monheit19 – “While taking an evening stroll with my husband at the beach, I looked up and spied this scene which totally captivated my attention. As the two silhouettes walking side by side against the amazing sky continued their journey, I raised my iPhone 11 Pro to capture the image. In post production I used Snapseed to edit along with the native camera app.”

Hands

‘Hands’ by @ilanarose_docophoto – “This photo was taken in Ecuador. I saw a mother and child standing together outside of their house. The child appeared upset and the mother was comforting him and holding his hand.

The processing was quite basic, just changing the image to mono and darkening it a bit.”

One Night in Bangkok

‘One Night in Bangkok’ by @iphotokunst – “Shot on iPhone X and edited in Snapseed ”

‘mother and child’ by @jsmayores – “This shot was taken two years ago during my vacation in the Philippines. We were at the bedroom when the cloud formation offered a nice composition for a silhouette. I clicked a couple of shots from my iPhone 8 Plus and edited the photo using the iPhone editor to emphasize the contrast of the clouds and the subjects. ”

‘childhood<3’ by @miakbh – “This shot was taken in February exactly one year ago. Jutland, Denmark. My daughter and her beloved cousin in the woods playing and having so much fun. The two of them live in different parts of the country and therefore don’t see each other as often as they would like to. But when they’re together they are inseparable – and this picture really captures the essence of them being together.”

Unconditional Love

‘Unconditional Love’ by @prarthana_dhanjal – “This photo was taken in 2017 (Aug) at home.

It was a Sunday morning and my younger son was playing with Max, our Lab baby. It was when my son was practising the command of ‘Give Paw’ that I noticed this tender moment between them. I wanted to capture the emotion it conveyed. I asked my son to lay on the floor with both arms extended and got Max to put his paws on my son’s hand. The first shot that I took was on a lighter floor. The contrast wasn’t enough and the composition wasn’t perfect. I thought there was potential here. So we moved to another part, where the floor tiles were a darker shade of green that brought out the contrast. I was lucky that both of them cooperated, and I could frame it properly this time and take the shot.

I took this photo with an iPhone 6 and don’t remember doing any edits.

It’s been a joy to see them grow together and am grateful for this beautiful bond they share. ”

‘Oh, the places you will go, little one!’ by @rawsdeb_ru – “This was taken of my first grandson soon after birth with his father cradling his feet. He was born after IVF pregnancy so a very special birth! The photo was taken with an iPhone 12 Pro Max and edited in snapseed and converted to black and white.”

Grandfather and nephew

‘Grandfather and nephew’ by @scavix – “The photo was taken with a Samsung Galaxy A72 and enhanced with Snapseed.

This is the hand of my 93 years old father who broke his femur after a fall and we had to take him to a retirement home. This is the moment he saw his grandchildren after the Covid lockdown.”

With love from us

‘With love from us’ by @harnaka_harto – “This photo was taken at the special spot in eastern part of Indonesia, that has a special kind of mangrove that we call ‘dancing mangrove tree’. The air also doesn’t have pollution because it is a secluded place. So we can even see stars with our eyes directly.

I put my iPhone 12 pro max on a tripod, and with my wife, together we held hands to make a love sign. We tried several times and I think this is the best result that we can get.”

Man’s best friend …..the waiting game

Mobiography Photo Challenge: 14 Love & Affection Inspired Smartphone Photos 11

‘Man’s best friend… the waiting game’ by @alice1280 – “This is Michael and he would rather be walking but when your person takes up fishing you have to sit and wait. I decided to bend down and get his ears above the horizon. His tail leads the eye to his fisherman and it was slightly misty which makes Michael really stand out. Edited in Snapseed.”

I see you seeing me…

Mobiography Photo Challenge: 14 Love & Affection Inspired Smartphone Photos 12

‘I see you seeing me…’ by @camhaynes22 – “Portrait photography takes me out of my comfort zone. But, every now and then I see a photo opportunity I’m ready to attempt like this one of my youngest daughter. She often shows up at the patio window to see what I’m doing and to show her support. I like how she frames her hands in a way to express that to me ‘I see you Mom. What are you doing? It’s too cold to come outside but I’m supporting what you’re doing.’

Photographed and edited on Samsung Galaxy S7 (no flash, no tripod). I never recall the specific edits I might have made. It just happens. I do remember using SnapSeed in general but mainly using the Healing function to clean up the glass of dust and some of the reflections. I couldn’t remove myself completely though. You can still see the reflection of my phone.”
