This issue marks the 5th anniversay of publishing Mobiography Magazine and over the last five years, I have been working hard to find and showcase the most talented mobile photographers and the best apps, accessories and photographic tips. My aim has always been to inspire and teach people how to make the most of the camera that is always in your pocket…your smartphone.
What’s inside this special anniversary issue?
Inside this special anniversary issue, we talk to two talented landscape photographers, Nicolas Xanthos and Joseph Cyr. I have been a big fan of Nicolas’ work for a long time. I love the drama and mood within his landscape photographs. I’m also a fan of Joseph Cyr’s work as well. His portfolio combines stunning landscapes of the desert with travel and urban architecture photography.
In our beginner’s guide section, Rob Dunsford looks at several ways that you can take better photos in low light situations, something that can be a tricky thing to do using a smartphone camera. Meanwhile, I take a range of Moment Lenses for a test drive and find out what sort of photos you can expect from this selection of add-on lens attachments.
Are you looking to take macro photos with your smartphone? We’ve got you covered with eight tips that will help you take a macro view of the world around you. In contrast to that, Mark Myerson goes large and takes a look at architectural photography and discusses what it takes to shoot stunning photographs of buildings.
