The theme of last week’s Mobiography Photo Challenge was ‘Joy & Happiness’. For this challenge participants were asked to share their best mobile photos that convey a sense of joy and happiness. This is happiness

This is happiness‘ by @luiggi1905 – “The inspiration for the photo is the kitten herself, she loves it and is happy lying in the sun that comes through the window. It is a love!! The photo is taken with iPhone 11 Pro and edited with Snapseed and Lightroom.”

Sophie

Sophie‘ by @alice1280 – “Walking with Sophie is always full of joy, happiness and non stop action.

I bought this ball to try and get this picture or something like it. I got down low, Karen threw the ball and Sophie came full speed towards me. I had the iPhone on Live Photo and was able to choose this frame. Unfortunately, she ripped the ball to bits before we could try bouncing it on water. A little editing was done with Snapseed.”

Untitled

Untitled‘ by @christinemignon – “The shot was taken in my former hometown in Austria, Innsbruck. Covid had hit the town quit hard, followed by a total lockdown in spring. Summer was the time for a little happiness and joy, especially the kids had in the sun and water!

The picture was taken with iPhone XS and edited with Hipstamatic (lens: Jane, film: Rasputin, flash: juicy orange gel) ”

Bee Bold!

Bee Bold!‘ by @di.monheit19 – “Sunflowers make me happy and always elevate my mood to one of joyfulness. I am lucky to live in an area surrounded by fields of sunflowers as it is a crop grown in my Pacific Northwest town. Often, while driving past a field of sunflowers I see many cars pulled over with people capturing their own happy images. Having my iPhone 11 with me all the time provides me with ample opportunity to stop and capture images like this.

Minor edits were carried out in Snapseed.”

“There is no reason to know the thoughts of others, just look carefully at the expression on their faces”

‘There is no reason to know the thoughts of others, just look carefully at the expression on their faces’ by @el_rubins_ed – “I like to use my iPhone XR to take portraits of my patients before fabricating their dentures. On this occasion Lupita was very happy with this photograph of her!”

An amazing weekend in Cornwall with friends

An amazing weekend in Cornwall with friends‘ by @sunflowerof21_365 – “This is me taking a rare selfie with some of my favourite people. We were in Cornwall in the South West of England on a ‘girlie weekend’ celebrating a couple of 50th birthdays. The weekend was loads of fun – I think our smiles say it all.

As with all photos in my 366 photo project, I shot this with the Hipstamatic app, using my iPhone 11 Pro Max. I usually shoot in Classic Mode, but for this particular shot I used the reverse camera in Pro Mode. It took a bit of time and faffing around to get all our heads in but we (almost) managed it after a few attempts. I applied one of my favourite Hipstamatic combos for a bright and colourful edit (Anne-Marie/Irom 2000).”

His Highness

His Highness‘ by @thebookofchairmanmeow – “This is a quintessential portrait of Chairman Meow. He’s a rescue cat who I found on an online service for cats in shelters who need homes. I immediately was drawn to his online picture as he was sitting just like this on a tall cat perch with all the other shelter cats sitting far below him. I’ve taken many pictures of him sitting like this on his various thrones around the house. All I do is simply wait for him to get comfortable during his daily sunbathing routine and try to get an interesting angle. For this particular picture I used the built-in wide angle lens on the iPhone and a low angle to give the photo some dramatic foreshortening.”

Untitled

Untitled‘ by @veroniqueroelofs – “Our daughter loves me working, as I’m just started my own business in child photography. Whenever we get a new prop she can’t wait to come in front of the camera. Also I work together with florists, they give me flowers and I shoot for them to use as commercial. This picture I edit for the challenge and sent to the florist with caption How a happy customer looks like. I shoot at home where I have the best natural light at that moment.

I edit all my pictures with Snapseed, use a lot of curving to do so. I like this app because it is intuitive.”
